With the minimum temperature reaching at an all-time low in many northern parts of the country, its difficult time for the homeless. But they should not worry much as politicians have started their blanket distribution campaign just like previous years. Winter and Election together work as an opportunity for politicians to show their large-hearted to the voters.
The only thing is that the length of the blanket has increased significantly. With 50 politicians running the same campaign it became difficult for all of them to hold it while giving it to the poor. And then they had to also smile for the camera, for which the normal blanket size was too small.
A Startup in Delhi has solved the problem. The company has started manufacturing 100-meter long kambals so that 100-150 politicians can hold it easily while donating. It’s a different question that how will the poor man store this long blanket. But then it is his problem, not the big-hearted politician’s problem. The company has started getting record orders as almost all parties are ordering it and distributing it.
Yesterday when the politicians were distributing the blankets in the slum area, the crowd said that one blanket is enough for the whole area as they cannot store so many blankets. But the politicians wanted 50-100 photos so they distributed 100-meter long kambal to almost 100 people. The politicians have also asked the Delhi govt. to provide houses or at least storage space to the poor for these kambals.
