September 19, AAP denied the claims that suggested Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was deplaned in Germany for being drunk. CM Mann was on an eight-day trip to Germany and returned to India yesterday.
There were reports on Sunday that the delay in his return was due to the reason that he was deplaned from the plane at Frankfurt airport in Germany on Saturday as he imbibed excessive alcohol. An eye witness told the reporter that Bhagwant Mann was so drunk that he was behaving normal.
After meeting with AAP Chief, Arvind Kejriwal, Bhagwant Mann clarified that he deboarded the plane as he wasn’t feeling safe because the plan wasn’t moving straight.
Bhagwant Mann also claimed that upon boarding he noticed that the plane was over occupied with two passengers sitting on on seats. However, Lufthansa airline has denied any such allegations and said safety is the top priority of our airline.
