After the coronavirus, Now the sweets shops in the city of joy, Kolkata, have come up with a quirky idea to spread awareness about the COVID-19 vaccine. The various sweet shops in Kolkata has now favorite sweet Sandesh in shape like a covid vaccine. However, the cause is doing more harm than good. The sweet isn’t only aiding people’s diabetes but also confusing people with the real Covid vaccine.
On Saturday, Kolkata Police arrested a man who was flouting all COVID norms and was moving across the city without wearing a mask. Upon asking, the man told he had taken multiple doses of the vaccine and he’s now totally immune. Not convinced with his claim, Police investigated using his Aarogya Setu and learned that man hasn’t taken a single dose of the COVID vaccine.
Later it was learned that man has eaten COVID Vaccine shaped sweet and mistook it for the real vaccine. Sweets shops selling COVID Vaccine-shaped sweets have been asked to shut down until further orders.
