Multiple occurrences of comedians making jokes and hurting the sentiments, especially of politicians, a minority in India, have finally forced the government to table and pass the Anti-Comedy Bill in Parliament with the full support of all parties. The bill consists of:

  1. Joke Licensing Act – All comedians will have to pass a government-approved test to obtain a license before doing any comedy.

2. Pre-Approved Punchlines – A censor board for comedians will be constituted, where comedians will have to submit and get their jokes approved one month prior to performing them in public.

3. Blasphemy Act – Jokes on politicians in power in states or at the center will fall under the Blasphemy Act, as these politicians are worshipped more than God these days.

These laws will not be enforced by Police but a special force, in which all parties will contribute their goons proportional to their number of seats in Parliament.
