Russia has officially become the first country to launch Covid vaccine and it has named the vaccine Sputnik V. Medical experts and health agencies around the globe are not entirely convinced of the safety and efficacy of the Russian vaccine.
Russia has been accused of not testing the vaccine with the said guidelines and has started distribution after 1st phase. Reportedly, Russia has gifted 1 million vaccines to Pakistan . Pakistan PM Imran Khan is calling it Pakistan’s diplomat win and an indication of stronger ties with the countries who are close ally of India.
However, WHO believes that it’s not a gift but a human trial phase 3 of Sputnik, Russian Covid vaccine.
