As the world awaits a COVID-19 vaccine, researchers studying possible treatments have found a commonly used steroid called dexamethasone might help save one-third of patients who end up on ventilators. Reportedly, soon after the news broke a gym freak Roshan Thakur got himself infected with CoronaVirus and started demanding steroids. Doctor treating him spoke to The Fauxy and said “however the patient has confirmed COVID positive he’s showing almost no symptoms and doesn’t require any medication. But he keeps asking steroids”.
