Election Commission waiting for Arvind Kejriwal to get slapped to announce Delhi election dates

Election Commission waiting for Arvind Kejriwal to get slapped to announce Delhi election dates
  • PublishedDecember 28, 2019

The Election Commission on Thursday began a series of meetings to decide on the dates for the Assembly elections in Delhi as the term of the current Assembly expires in February 2020.

The team decided that they will wait for the first sap on Kejriwal’s face before announcing the dates. The slap on CM’s face means that the people really want elections and the season would begin.

The election commission also watched the footage of Kejriwal being slapped for over 30 minutes and they are sure that slap on his face would really be good for the elections to be successful. Just like the mothers used to give curd mixed with sugar before every exam to their kids, a slap on Kejriwal’s face is required for a successful election.

The slap will be kind of an election bugle. Election commission has asked for footages from all CCTV cameras in Delhi, though the number is very small, to track all outings of Kejriwal where he can be slapped.
