The Apex court has dismissed all petitions against the Rafale deal today, observing that they hold no merit. Despite getting rebuked by the Supreme Court after levelling months of baseless accusations against the Modi government, Rahul Gandhi has decided to do it some more.
After getting proved as a national liar, many expected to not see him for dust. But as it happens, Rahul Gandhi’s latest weapon against the Modi government is dust itself! Rahul Gandhi could be seen in video footage recorded at an undisclosed location (probably Bangkok) and posted by the Congress official handle. He maintained his stand on Rafale and kept calling it a scam.
“The other day I heard that law is blind..maybe the Supreme Court could not see a scam in the Rafale deal due to Delhi’s smog..!” said Rahul, asserting that Modi government is hiding something under the smog-cover.
Rahul Gandhi’s latest accusations directed at the Supreme Court might hold some water (if not air) as Delhi’s Air Quality Index, much like Rahul himself, is plummeting to new lows every day. With Kejriwal as Delhi’s Chief Minister and Rahul Gandhi as the main opposition in the country, it might be wrong to claim that the Indian public “did not see it coming”!
