Delivery Boy Dies After Man Asks Him To Get Rat Poison Too While Delivering The Order

Zomato was in the news recently for giving a fitting reply to a customer who canceled his order as he wanted delivery from someone belonging to a specific caste.

Though the reply looked fitting at first, Zomato was caught in its own hypocrisy of dissociating food from religion when they had actually categorized food on basis of religion.

If that was not enough, a Zomato delivery boy fell sick as his customer asked him to bring rat poison from a local shop while bringing his order. Out of his sheer habit, the delivery boy took a sip from the rat poison while he was having some food from the ordered deliverables. This is when he fell sick and is currently admitted in a hospital

Zomato customer service manager spoke to the fauxy and said,” Customers should take care of the health of the delivery boys. When they know that the delivery boy would surely eat from the ordered food, they should not order anything harmful. I don’t know how educated customers are committing these types of mistakes. We will surely take action against the customer. “
