Kota Factory – A 5-episodes series by TVF, is about IIT aspirants and their struggles to comprehend complex subjects like inorganic chemistry and its anomalies. While engineering students and college pass out are getting nostalgic, IIT aspirants are having a hard time watching the show.
Vikas, an 11th class IIT aspirant from Bhopal, who enrolled himself in Bansal classes at Kota has now decided to drop his plans for IIT and has instead applied for a change in stream. Vikas was very excited and enthusiastic about cracking IIT until he saw ‘Kota Factory‘ where students are portrayed coping with Organic Chemistry.
Vikas revealed the real reason to The Fauxy: “I am good in maths as it involves understanding the concepts but when it comes to mugging up facts I struggle. Despite scoring 100/100 in maths, I barely managed to score 70% in my Xth board exams only because of this reason.”
Reportedly, Vikas’ parents have filed a petition in court to take down the show as it discourages IIT aspirants from taking the entrance exam. Vikas’ parents are getting huge support on social media where users are on the wait to get a topic to outrage.
