Punjab’s CM, Bhagwant Mann, has demanded the Bharat Ratna for illegal immigrants deported from the U.S.
Speaking to The Fauxy, Mann said, “These illegal immigrants spent their own money to immigrate illegally because they didn’t want to add to India’s already massive population problem. Now that they’ve returned, they’ve brought dollars with them, which will help strengthen the rupee at a time when it’s in free fall. Not only do they deserve the Bharat Ratna, but I also urge the central government to recommend them for the Nobel Prize.”
Currently, Bhagwant Mann is seeking recommendations for the best American liquors, as well as the most reliable agents for the donkey route—just in case Arvind Kejriwal loses in Delhi and decides to move to Punjab.
