Pakistan’s Science & Technology minister criticises India’s Chandrayaan project for not directly reaching moon and wasting fuel by taking longer path

Former Pakistani Minister of Science and Technology, Fawad Chaudhry, has ridiculed India’s moon mission – Chandrayaan- 3, asking ISRO why it’s taking longer path (orbits) and wasting fuel by not reaching the moon directly.

Earlier the minister had said “What’s the point of going to moon when it’s clearly visible from earth, particularly during the Islamic festival of Eid-ul-Fitr?

Speaking to The Fauxy, Minister Fawad Chaudhry said if India has so much fuel to waste why don’t they give it to its neighbours instead.

Reportedly, Pakistan space agency had announced its first manned mission in 2022, however, the agency is still trying to convince people to board the mission.
