After a Surat court sentenced Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to two years imprisonment in a defamation case over his ‘Modi surname’ remark made in 2019, Rahul Gandhi got automatically disqualified from Lok Sabha. However, Congress called the disqualification illegal and Rahul Gandhi attended the Lok Sabha despite being disqualified.
Speaking in a press conference, Rahul Gandhi told The Fauxy, that the Rahul Gandhi attending the Lok Sabha is a new Rahul Gandhi as he has killed the disqualified Rahul Gandhi. “Disqualified Rahul Gandhi is dead, I killed him” said Rahul Gandhi.
Soon after Rahul Gandhi’s statement, Rahul Gandhi got convicted for murder and suicide too. Reportedly, Rahul Gandhi can never contest an election.

The court also warned opposition leader who called the verdict unlawful and undemocratic. The court called opposition leaders’ statement a blatant contempt of court and said that further contempt of court can lead to conviction of these opposition leaders will also be disqualified from parliament houses.
