Climate activist Greta Thunberg has brought together more than 100 scientists, environmental activists, journalists and writers to write down what’s already there in public domain. However, Greta has summarised all the views in a bundle of paper to call it her first book – The Climate Book.
However, Greta Thunberg has now herself started a boycott campaign against her book. Reportedly, Greta Thunberg has realised that every single copy of book created means a tree being cut. Moreover the transportation of the books would also mean significant increase in the carbon footprint.
Greta Thunberg was seen sitting near the Sweden Parliament with a placard that reads “Boycott The Climate Book by Greta Thunberg”.
Sources suggest that whoever has preordered the book will now be getting soft copy (pdf) of the book with a personalised message by Greta Thunberg. Greta Thunberg has saved over a million trees since the book had over a million pre-orders.
