Road safety is back in focus after the tragic death of the former chairperson of the Tata Group – Cyrus Mistry. The key issues identified were – rear seat-belts and no airbags for rear seats.

On Sunday, the Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, shared a video of Bollywood star Akshay Kumar emphasising the value of six airbags. The video went viral making millions of people aware about the importance of seatbelt’s and airbags.

The video inspired a man to devise his own technology to compensate for the airbags. Reportedly, the man used lays chips packets to compensate for the less airbags.

Speaking to the fauxy, the man said “I don’t like cribbing, I think of solutions and it hit my mind that people often crib about too much air and less chips in lays packets and that clicked on my mind that same packets can be used as airbags in car.

He then put a airbag.. a Lays packet on his belly and fastened the seat belt and drove away smilingly and safely.
