In a bizarre attempt of appeasement politics, Police on Friday arrested a pressure cooker after it whistled during Azan hurting the sentiments of Muslim brothers during the month of Ramzaan.
On last Friday before Eid, Police made all the arrangements to ensure peaceful Azan, a cooker whistled thrice during the Azan disturbing the harmony and provoking muslim brothers. After third whistle, Police arrested the cooker under Sec 153 of IPC.
“Even after being arrested the cooker didn’t learn and kept whistling, it was a clear case of attempt to disturb the communal harmony of the country. The cooker has been taken into custody and will be presented to court after Eid holidays” said the police officer who arrested the pressure cooker.
Another Police officer spoke to The Fauxy and said “It’s not only pressure cooker, we are also under tremendous pressure to maintain the communal harmony of the country, we all should respect one another’s religion and should postpone our festivals if they coincide with Eid“
