Editors Guild Mandates Gym for all the Journalists after Some Journalists were Stripped Down to Undergarments by MP Police

A viral photo is doing the rounds on social media with the claim that a group of journalists were arrested and stripped down to their undergarments by Madhya Pradesh police. In the photo, eight journalists are seen standing against the wall in their undergarments and tons of belly fat.

Editors’ Guild, the organisation responsible for protecting the freedom of the press, took note of the incident and made a press release. The editors guild of India has now mandated gym for every journalists. The decision was taken after seeing the viral photo of half-naked journalists where not a single journalist looked fit and each one of them had a big belly.

The Orders reads “The Editors Guild of India is deeply concerned about the looks of the half-naked journalists who are giving a bad name to the press fraternity. Editors Guild mandates 5 days/week gym for every journalists with immediate effect.

Editors Guild Head, Shekhar Gupta spoke to The Fauxy and said “If you want to do journalism then be ready for arrest and if you get arrest be ready to get naked and if you get naked then you must be presentable even in undergarments“.
