After a flurry of desperate video appeals from Indian students stranded in northeast Ukraine’s Sumy, the Indian embassy in the war-torn country today asked the students to be strong. However, Indian Embassy wasn’t limited to words and took steps to ensure that the students are strong.
Indian Embassy today arranged gym equipments for the students stranded in Ukraine. Indian Embassy said we are leaving no stone unturned to ensure safe evacuation of the students but at the same time they need to be strong as they have to reach to the border of Ukraine from where they will be picked.
Speaking to The Fauxy, an Indian student in Ukraine said “It was the need of the hour, I was missing my gym routine”. Another student seemed disappointed he said that there’s no point of providing the gym equipment, if Indian Embassy doesn’t provide us whey protein.
