UP Election: Congress Condemns Yogi Adityanath for Defeating a Woman in his Constituency

The counting of votes for the 403 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh began on Thursday morning. The BJP is currently leading in more than 250 seats and will comfortably form the government in Uttar Pradesh.  However, Congress has condemned Yogi Adityanath for his anti-woman policy.

 

Congress UP chief, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has condemned Yogi Adityanath for defeating a woman just two days after World celebrated International Women’s day. “Have some shame Ajay Bisht, you are defeating a woman. How low will you stoop for your politics” tweeted Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.

 

I said ladki hun lad sakti hun, I never said jeet bhi sakti hai.” I stand correct, but Yogi Adityanath should have respected a woman. Said Priyanka Gandhi Vadra in her second tweet.

 

Congress interim President, Rahul Gandhi also condemned Yogi Adityanath. “You can defeat a woman but you can never defeat a woman morale and her courage to fight you” tweeted Rahul Gandhi.

 

As per latest EC data, Yogi Adityanath is leading and Subhawati Upendra Dutt Shukla is trailing and the vote difference between the two is more than 55 thousand.
