Sonu Sood takes all the Bharat Jodo Yatra supporters to Kashmir by Bus, Congress files case

The Congress party’s Bharat Jodo Yatra under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi resumed its journey on Monday from Shornur in Kerala’s Palakkad district with hundreds of party workers accompanying Rahul Gandhi in the walk. The Bharat Jodo Yatra intends to unite India and promote coexistence. People supporting the yatra are walking non-stop for 150 days to cover the distance between Kanyakumari and Kashmir.

However, the Bharat Jodo Yatra suffered a major jolt when the Bollywood actor Sonu Sood, who is known for his philanthropic work, organised a bus for Congress workers and sent 500 Bharat Jodo Yatra participants to Kashmir in several buses, defeating the entire purpose of the campaign.

Reportedly, Congress has filed a case against Sonu Sood and alleged him of being a BJP worker who wants to stop the Bharat Jodo Yatra campaign. Sonu Sood in his defence said “This isn’t the first time I have organised a bus for people walking, it’s my initiative since lockdown days where I organised buses for thousand of migrant workers.

Congress has asked Sonu Sood to bring all the Bharat Jodo Yatra participants back to the Palakkad from where he picked them. Details on this is awaited.
