Social Media Managers are responsible for planning, implementing, managing and monitoring the company’s Social Media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts and increase sales. And for doing this they have to spend a lot of time on the internet surfing social media.
They are present on every platform right from Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Sometimes when they feel bored with these platforms, they make their own platforms. Such is their addiction to social media. But a new channel recently showed in their ‘Viral Hai’ segment, how a social media manager spent 18 hrs. a day on social media. This news went viral and jobless people were actually curious to know how a social media manager spends so much time on social media.
The fauxy spoke to Jagdish Malik, the protagonist in this story and he had this to say “I have never counted, but yes I do spend a lot of time on social media. It’s not for any personal work. It is to help the clients. I don’t know why people are so surprised by finding out that I spend 18 hrs. on social media. According to me, I am wasting the 6 hrs. in a day when I am not on any social media platform.”
