Shah Rukh Khan Reveals he didn’t Charge for his role in Rocketry, infact was asked to give ₹50 to the Producer

R Madhavan’s Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is enjoying a decent run in theatres. The film brings the life of a former scientist and aerospace engineer of the Indian Space Research Organisation to the screen. The movie has Shah Rukh Khan too who can be seen interviewing Nambi Narayanan.

Speaking to The Fauxy, Shah Rukh Khan revealed that he didn’t charge anything for the movie and infact was asked by the Producer Director R Madhavan, to give ₹50 for his acting in the movie.

I wanted to do it free of cost because it’s about India and the great scientists of India. I don’t know why Madhavan asked me to pay ₹50, the amount is so small so I didn’t ask and just gave” said Shah Rukh Khan.

Many states are considering making movie tax free so that more and more people can see the injustice done to the great scientists of India.

Delhi and Punjab Govt have requested R Madhavan to not the make sequel of the movie as the person who falsely implicated Nambi Narayanan later joined Aam Aadmi Party.
