Congress MP Rahul Gandhi is once again in the BJP’s line of fire after a video of him at a foreign nightclub emerged. The clip soon went viral on social media. Sharing the clip, BJP leaders in-charge questioned the whereabouts of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
However, Rahul Gandhi has now clarified that his presence at foreign nightclub was in national interest. Rahul Gandhi accused BJP of doing cheap politics without understanding the real reason of his being in the nightclub. Rahul Gandhi through a tweet clarified that he was in the nightclub to improve India’s happiness index.
Earlier, Rahul Gandhi had criticised Modi led BJP government for India’s poor performance at world happiness index, where India was ranked below Srilanka and Ukraine, country going through major economic crisis and the war-torn country respectively.
Rahul Gandhi also said that under BJP government people have forgot to enjoy their lives and have become too serious. “This is not the idea of India, Nehru had thought. It’s time we throw the party, I mean throw the BJP party out” Rahul Gandhi tweeted.
