Big news is coming from Bengaluru, where the police have arrested Lord Ganesha, and now the opposition is seeking to replace the Chief Justice of India before putting him on trial. The current CJI, Justice Chandrachud, is a known devotee of Lord Ganesha, which could create a conflict of interest.
Devotees of Lord Ganesha were protesting in Bengaluru against the stone-pelting during the Immersion Ceremony of Lord Ganesha in Mandya by the Muslim community. However, since peacefully protesting is a bigger crime than stone-pelting at a religious ceremony, Bengaluru police intervened and arrested the protestors along with their leader, Lord Ganesha. Now, the opposition is seeking to replace the current CJI, who is a devotee of Lord Ganesha, to avoid any potential bias during the trial.
Speaking to The Fauxy, an opposition leader said, “We seek to replace the current CJI because we want to show that our justice system is completely fair, ensuring that even gods do not receive any preferential treatment, especially Hindu gods.”
Currently, Hindus across the country are peacefully awaiting the verdict on their God, with full faith in the justice system.
