On Tuesday, another BJP karyakarta, from West Bengal, was hanged to death. His body found hanging by the lake. Family alleges he was murdered by local TMC men for his association with the BJP. In West Bengal and Kerala there has been many over thousand cases in the last few years.
BJP top leaders have been saying that the sacrifice of these workers will not go in vain and BJP will win these states by playing the victim and sympathy cards on the dead bodies of these RSS workers.
However, this time BJP looked casual and tacitly asked the party to consider a routine. PM Modi said “Ah shit here we go again” to normalise the event.
Soon after the Modi’s statement, many other BJP leaders tweeted memes on the incident, asking other Karyakartas to play full victim and make sure BJP wins these states in next assembly elections.
