Nehru’s Statue Removed In Allahabad By Yogi Adityanath; Reportedly Winked At Passing-By Ladies

Nehru’s statue in Allahabad has been removed by Yogi Adityanath’s government as a part of the beautification drive for the city. If sources are to be believed, the statue of the former Prime Minister of India was taken down when a slew of eve-teasing complaints was filed by local female citizens.

“I saw it myself. He winked at me three times and it felt like as if it’s not a statue but a real live person winking at me!” gushed Prerna, a college student. There was a sense of awe amongst the residents of Allahabad who witnessed the phenomenon live, however, Congress distanced itself from the entire controversy and denied the occurrence of any such incident.

Public cries of “Playboy Chacha!” drowned all other noises as Engineers rushed to the garden where the statue of their beloved Chacha Nehru was once erect. Forced by circumstances, CM Yogi Adityanath ordered UP police to remove the statue as it was causing a lot of inconvenience to the women who were passing by. There were, however, many who refused to accept the women’s claim around eve-teasing and started denouncing the move as Yogi’s conspiracy to uproot Nehru’s ideology from India.

Cases of harassment by Road-Romeos are an increasing menace in the country and nobody is untouched by such incidents. Recently our honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji was hugged without consent and later winked at in front of the entire nation by a politician belonging to the same family as that of Nehru.

Renowned Science Magazine reporter Mr Salunkhe has refused to accept the bizarre phenomenon at face value and is awaiting forensic reports to unravel the physics behind what’s causing the statue to wink.
