Mumbai Paper Company cuts 100 trees to meet demands of paper for Aarey forest protest placards

The controversy surrounding the metro car shed in Aarey is reaching a feverish pitch. Protesters held banners and stood outside Bachchan’s house and were questioned by the security.

The reason was that Mr. Bachchan has supported the construction of Metro car-shed. Protestors have been using a lot of placards for ther campaign and after so many activists joined them at short notice, there was a shortage of placards. Arjun Rampal, Richa Chadda, Shraddha Kapoor, and many others reached the protest spot in their SUVs today.

A Mumbai Paper Company had to immediately cut down 100 trees to make placards and supply to the protestors. Shraddha Kapoor thanked the company and said that we need more such volunteers to come forward. If needed more trees will be cut for the placards, the activists have warned the government.

Shraddha Kapoor stayed at the protest for 30 minutes as she had to leave for her shooting location and a private jet was waiting for her at the Mumbai Airport.
