Founded by Shekhar Gupta, The Print has been running a fake narrative against the government in order to impress Mrs Gandhi. Shekhar Gupta who is also the President of Editors Guild has been reprimanded by many senior government officials for running fake news but Shekhar Gupta instead of correcting the news cried FOE, thereby building a perception that government is against freedom of expression.
Rattled by Shekhar Gupta’s attitude, a samose wala, Mr Brijmohan from Delhi, took out print outs of various articles of The Print India and now serves samosa to his customer on these article papers.
We spoke to Brijmohan, who likes to keep himself updated with recent news and speaks really good English. Brij Mohan said “I try to read all the leading newspaper articles and recently I came across various articles of Print India, I was shocked to know that all their articles are either fake or funny or both. Why would one read such articles? I would rather read The Fauxy. They are the same but at least honest. That’s why I decided to show Shekhar Gupta the real worth of his articles. Today I am using it for wrapping samosa tomorrow I can do worse.”
