Man Starts Walking On Sunday For Monday’s Office After NCP Forces Uber And Ola Drivers To Strike

Mumbai: In a shocking incident a man dressed in formals was seen walking 33 Kms so that he can make it to the office on time on Monday. Himanshu Singh, a resident of Andheri set out for Monday’s work in Colaba on Sunday evening at around 5 PM. After walking for around 18 Kms, Himanshu stopped midway to take rest at a restaurant in Bandra.

Speaking to The Fauxy’s reporter, Himanshu revealed that travelling through local trains is nothing less than a nightmare for him and it’s been more than three years since he last travelled by local train. Every day he gets a cab to reach office and is very particular about maintaining punctuality.

To avoid getting late, Himanshu started walking to the office on Sunday evening itself after his colleague, Rahul, posted on their office’s WhatsApp group that NCP (Nationalist Congress Party) is forcing Ola and Uber drivers to go on strike. Rahul also posted a paper cutting that says Ola and Uber drivers do not wish to go on a strike as it would impact their earnings which is in the range of 70-80k per month.

One of Himanshu’s friends posted a joke on social media trolling Himanshu “It’s neither Sunday nor Monday for him its Somday, a situation when the Monday anxiety enters into Sunday.”
