Man Reduces Maid’s Salary, Claims Her ₹1500 Comes from His Taxes via Government’s Ladli Bahin Yojna

Breaking news from Mumbai: A man has reduced his maid’s salary by ₹1500, claiming that she already receives the amount from his taxes through the government’s Ladli Bahin Yojna.

The recently concluded Maharashtra elections saw the NDA emerge victorious, with the Ladli Bahin Yojna, a freebie scheme offering ₹1500 to every woman, playing a significant role in their success.

Disappointed by the results, the man, who had voted for the Congress-led MVA, decided to counteract the government’s use of taxpayer money by deducting the ₹1500 from his maid’s salary.

However, the maid refused to accept the salary cut, arguing that her husband also pays taxes, and that is where her ₹1500 comes from.

Speaking to The Fauxy, the maid remarked, “I also have a maid, but I didn’t cut her salary, saying my husband pays for her freebie.”

In protest, the man has started underperforming at work to avoid a salary increase, ensuring he pays less tax to the government.
