Looking at frequent surrenders by Pak Army, UN asks Pakistan to keep Plain white flag as its national flag

Pakistani Army on Friday raised a white flag at the Line of Control (LoC) to retrieve bodies of two of its soldiers killed by the Indian Army in retaliation to unprovoked ceasefire violation on September 11.

Off late there have been many instances of the Pakistani army using a white flag to surrender itself and take away bodies of its soldiers. UN has given a good suggestion to the Pakistani army that will reduce their effort and make things work quickly. UN has asked Pakistan to replace its national flag with a white flag so that it can surrender easily in future.

Looking at the strength of the Pakistani army, it is likely that they will surrender a lot in the future. So it would really be in their own interest if they make the white flag as their national flag so that any army looking at the Pakistani flag would get the message that they have already surrendered.
