Kejriwal announces free fire extinguishers to Delhites after Delhi Fire incident

In one of the worst fire accidents in the city, 43 people were killed after a massive blaze ripped through a four-storey building housing illegal manufacturing units in north Delhi’s Anaj Mandi area on Sunday morning.

Kejriwal did announce compensation for the victims, although it is a mere publicity stunt as his government was unable to take strict measures against illegal companies operating from many parts of the city. He also announced free fire extinguisher services. This is in line with free bus rides, free water, free WiFi and many free things that the AAP CM has announced as elections are nearing. According to Kejriwal any area of Delhi can dial the number and ask for fire extinguisher services.

He has still not conveyed the government’s plans to prevent such fires but he wants to give all necessary help once any area suffers from such horrific tragedies. Kejriwal has also asked people to use the free WiFi and trace the fire extinguisher services.
