Multiple surveys conducted to asses the standard of journalism in the country have given results that are worrisome. Reports suggest that there is massive downfall in the standard of journalism and a majority of journalists are unofficially affiliated to one or the other political parties. Reports also suggest that almost every journalist has his/her bias in reporting and covering a story.
Instead of taking the reports as feedback to improve, the journalists have chosen to protest. A group of journalists blocked Delhi border and demanded the repeal of laws of gravitation.
Speaking to The Fauxy, an ex-Harvard journalist said “Reports say that there is downfall in standard of journalism, what do you think is the reason behind this fall? Of course gravity. It’s time gravity is banned and hence we demand repeal of laws that govern gravitation”.
