IPL Uses Arnab’s Debate Noise To Give An Impression Of Huge Crowd

The 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) begun on 19th Sep with the opening clash between Mumbai and Chennai . Due to COVID-19 pandemic, the IPL misses its soul as the games are being played behind closed doors with no fans in the ground.

However, to compensate for the absence of fans and attempt to create an over-enthusiastic stadium environment for the players, IPL is using noise created during Arnab Goswami’s debate.

The fake noise was caught by a social media user who realised that the crowd isn’t chanting Dhoni-Dhoni but Modi-Modi instead. Republic TV has filed a copyright case against BCCI.
