In The Memory Of Allama Iqbal, Pakistan To Build Statue Of Poverty

Having an ‘outstanding’ relationship with almost all the countries, Pakistan is now eyeing on global tourists to increase its GDP. Reportedly, after the huge success of Statue Of Unity India, Pakistan too has decided to build a statue – statue of poverty in the fond memory of Allama Iqbal.

Allama Iqbal, an acclaimed Urdu and Persian poet, philosopher and lawyer is revered in the country and many believe that he deserves statue. However, due to budget constraints the statue is likely to suffer quality.

Pakistan PM speaking on the anniversary of Allama Iqbal said “We are building the statue of poverty in the memory of Allama Iqbal and for the same the fund demand has been raised in more than 20 countries and we are likely to get some good fund. Bas ghabrana nahi hai”
