A day after Arvind Kejriwal’s big announcement for ensuring women safety in Delhi, the Chief Minister himself felt the need to ensure his own security. Amit Shah, the newly appointed Home Minister has announced free rides to CM Arvind Kejriwal in order to assure his safety.
Earlier, in one of his rallies, Arvind Kejriwal had blamed the famous Modi-Shah duo after being attacked by an AAP supporter. Reportedly, Arvind Kejriwal has been attacked plenty times in the last five years and this has lead to major unrest among AAP supporters who are now not being able to land the opportunity to..protect CM Kejriwal.
Amit Shah’s decision of providing free-rides to CM Kejriwal is receiving a lot of criticism by several political leaders. Forever Deputy CM, Manish Sisodia, has said that the decision is just an election gimmick. Arvind Kejriwal himself has said that making rides free is nowhere related to improving safety.
