Heart patient sells kidney to get money for bypass surgery in lilavati hospital

We have heard about Kidneys being sold for buying iPhones. The Kidney market is strong whenever there is an iPhone launch. But the fauxy reporters have found a story where Kidney was sold for a very strange and weird reason.

In Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai, a patient named Sanil Banerjee sold his kidney to get money for his bypass surgery. Private hospitals are way too costly nowadays and it’s not easy to get any operation done without having a mediclaim. Sanil did not have a mediclaim, but used his brain to come out of the tricky situation.

Sanil spoke to the fauxy and said “I read on the internet that one kidney is sufficient for a healthy life. But if heart fails, there is no way to survive. Hence I thought that I could use money from selling my Kidney to use it for the much needed bypass surgery. The doctors at first were reluctant for the surgery. But after knowing my financial condition they were OK with the operation”

The only tough part for Sanil is that he will not be able to buy the next iPhone, as he has only one kidney left now.
