Finance Ministry cites Mallika Dua’s recruitment by Wilkins Chawla to brush off questions on economic slowdown

The Office season 2 premiered on Hotstar one week back and has 15 episodes in total, 3 more than the first season. The Office first season had mixed reviews initially but garnered positive reviews as more and more people understood the show. Season 2 is full of full of hilarious surprises.
But a major surprise was dropped in by the Finance Ministry which had an interesting and thought-worthy take on the season. As we all knew from the trailer that Mallika Dua has joined the cast of The Office season 2. She plays the role of a new employee named Kitty. Finance Ministry had a tough time recently to pacify people who were concerned about the slowdown of the economy.

Today, in a press briefing, a Finance Ministry official, giving the example of Mallika Dua’s recruitment in The Office, said that scenario at Wilkins Chawla proves that there is no economic slowdown. First things first, the finance ministry has watched the Office season 2. That shows the curiosity and excitement levels for the season. And they seem to be right.
At a time when sectors across India are reducing workforce, how come Wilkins Chawla get a new employee.

Many would argue that Kitty is a loud Punjabi spoiled brat type of a girl and given the nature of Jagdeep Chaddha, her recruitment was a cakewalk. Kitty has an instant liking for Sapan. And given her forwardness and confident attitude there are engaging moments between Kitty and the confused Intern.

Finance Ministry argued by saying that in the first season Wilkins Chawla was downsizing which meant they were not in a good financial position. But now that they are recruiting new people, it indicates that economic slowdown has been put into the minds of people by the opposition and reality is completely different.

The office season 2 getting 3 episodes more justifies the claims of the Finance Ministry as employees seem to be happy there, conveyed by the fact that Parminder asks Pammi for marriage. Even more orthodox people like TP Mishra and Anjali share some breezy romantic moments. Jagdeep is ever present like in the first season and goes all out to get attention from Riya Pahwa played by Gauhar Khan. Season 2 as promised by many positive reviews from the first season has grown with time and characters seem to be more relatable now.
There are rumors that Finance Ministry will soon make ‘watching The Office season 2’ mandatory for people.
