Electrical Engineer Hangs Himself On The Same Fan He Was Asked To Repair

In a shocking incident, an electrical engineer from Kota tried committing suicide by hanging himself on a fan, which he had been asked to repair by his relatives. Aman Kumar, 26, an electrical engineer who works in a software-based company in Pune was in his hometown Kota for some personal work when many of his relatives approached him to get their electrical appliances repaired.

Frustrated with their ludicrous demands, Aman tried explaining that an electrical engineer had nothing do with repairing electrical appliances but in vain as more and more relatives kept lining up outside his house. On the third day of his leave, Aman tied one end of a rope around his neck with the other end tied on a relative’s fan which he was repairing.

“Fortunately it was a table fan else Aman wouldn’t have been with us today. I don’t know what he has studied during his engineering course, but all I want is that my relatives better brand him as a loser and stop asking him to repair their machines,” said Aman’s mother while crying profusely.

Despite being understood by several, some engineers have also benefited from misconceptions around their work profile. Last year a Civil Engineer was able to get married only because the bride’s parents misconstrued him to be working in the Civil services.
