Known for carrying the entire world’s burden, donkeys have often been considered as one of the most useless creatures, however, this stereotype is bound to fade away. Recently a donkey created history by entering the Guinness Book of World Records after it walked 46 thousand steps at a stretch, thus winning a staggering $100m for his owner.
“Donkeys are one of the calmest creatures ever. They work silently but we mistake them to be dumb and often defame them by using their name as an insult for stupid people. It’s time we give up this false idea and honour the donkeys all across the world,” said the owner of the donkey, Mr Asthana.
Mr Asthana later tweeted about the feat achieved by his donkey with a screenshot of the Fitbit data which suggested that in its 13hr long journey, the donkey didn’t even stop for a second.
