Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal To Sit On An Indefinite Fast From March 1 For Alliance With Congress

On Saturday, Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced that he will be sitting on an indefinite hunger strike from March 1, so as to force Congress to form an alliance with AAP for the upcoming General Elections.

“I have tried enough to persuade Congress for the alliance, but Congress leaders are not realising the repercussions of their arrogant stance. Delhi has seven Lok Sabha seats and if Congress and AAP fight alone then all the seven seats will go to BJP. Hence, I have decided to take out the bramhastra, which was endowed to me by my ex-guru, Anna Hazare. I shall fast unto death to create pressure on Congress to form an alliance with AAP!”

If sources are to believed, Arvind Kejriwal is likely to start the dharna on 1st March and continue until people realise that it’s just a part of his usual theatrics. Like every time, a team of doctors will arrive on the scene to check his health and prescribe him to stop his fasting immediately, thus putting an end to his drama.

Although what’s intriguing people this time and what is currently not clear is whether Arvind Kejriwal will select a new health retreat destination or visit the place he chose the last time when he left his fast unto death midway. More on this awaited.
