India started the world’s biggest Covid-19 vaccine drive in mid-January and till now over eight crore people have been vaccinated and a major credit of this goes to the govt who made the vaccine free. However, making the vaccine free of cost has its own problems.
One such problem was seen when a brown mother asked for four free vaccines after getting herself vaccinated. Reportedly, the brown mother asked the vaccine administrators to pack four vaccines for her family members who couldn’t come to the vaccine center due to their prior commitments.
The officials spent more than two hours trying to convince her that vaccines can’t be given like that but the brown mother wasn’t ready and the argument concluded with her getting one more dose of the vaccine because it’s free.
