Big news is coming from California, United States, where Apple relaunched the iPhone 12 in exciting new colors last night. After launching essentially the same phone with new names every year, Apple noticed it had no effect on its sales. So, it decided to ditch even that minimal effort and simply relaunched the old iPhone 12 with new colors and minor tweaks.
Speaking to The Fauxy, an Apple spokesperson said, “Why innovate when you can just renovate”?
Apple also noticed that most of their users buy iPhones on EMI. So, they decided to copy their users and launch a new feature: “Get an iPhone now, features will come later.” However, Apple emphasized that they weren’t copying, they were just “inspired.”
Old iPhone 12 owners are very happy as they won’t need to buy the newly relaunched iPhone. But their happiness may be short-lived, as Apple is reportedly slowing down all older iPhones. So, everyone might eventually have to buy the newly relaunched ones.
