Bharat Jodo Yatra: Rahul Gandhi Covers 400 Kms Distance, yet to Step on a Non-Waqf Land

On Wednesday, the Congress’ Bharat Jodo Yatra began its 18th day of march in Kerala with hundreds of party workers and followers accompanying Rahul Gandhi. The march started from Pandikkad School Padi here and is scheduled to halt for a break at Wandoor junction around 10.30 am. Bharat Jodo Yatra has covered 400Kms distance so far and Rahul Gandhi is yet to step onto a non-waqf land.

 

Reportedly, every piece of land that Rahul Gandhi has walked onto as a part of Bharat Jodo Yatra Waqf has claimed to be its property. Waqf has over 8 and a half lakh properties in India that cover over eight lakh acres of land which is much bigger than many European countries.

 

Speaking to The Fauxy, Rahul Gandhi said “See.. Bharat Jodo Yatra is a successful we have covered over 400 Kilolitre distance and we have been joined by more than thousand people. Modi ji is scared of our campaign and that’s why he is not talking about it.”
