Arvind Kejriwal clarifies “I did not buy the shoes I am wearing, they were hurled at me”

Delhi’s CM Arvind Kejriwal is currently in South Korea as a part of his first bilateral official trip to sign various agreements between Delhi and Seoul. The agreements cover subjects like pollution control, urban development, public transport, drinking water issues etc – things which Delhi’s public is yet to experience under his able leadership.

During his trip, the Delhi’s CM was photographed in a completely different avatar, due to which he has now landed himself in trouble. Arvind Kejriwal was seen in a formal shirt, which was surprisingly well tucked in, however, the most astonishing part of his attire was the pair of shiny black shoes that he was wearing. Soon after the pictures of his new avatar got viral, social media users started questioning the hypocrisy of Kejriwal, who usually maintains a low profile while in Inda and wears sandals and shabby shirts even during the visit of foreign delegates.

While addressing the media, AAP spokesperson, Raghav Chadda clarified that the new pair of shoes that Arvind Kejriwal was wearing was neither bought nor gifted to him, thereby clearing all the allegations of a possible bribery and/or corruption. Raghav further added, “The pair of shoes was hurled at him during two different rallies, and fortunately enough, each time it was a different part of the pair”. Raghav also showed a zoomed in image of Arvind Kejriwal which clearly proves that both the shoes belong to different pairs.
