After India, Pakistan has now announced a mock drill on May 8 to prepare its army for war.

In the drill, the Pakistani army will rehearse laying down arms, raising hands, and saying “We surrender” in both English and Hindi—while taking inspiration from photos of the 93,000 soldiers who surrendered in 1971. Pakistan has also asked China to send white flags, even before sending weapons.

Speaking to The Fauxy, a Pakistani General said, “Unlike Indian citizens, our people don’t need mock drills as they’re already used to surviving daily in war-like conditions. But our army needs some practice since it’s been a while since we last surrendered to the Indian army.
