AAP To Form Alliance With NOTA Ahead of 2019 General Elections

A day after assembly election results of five states got declared, AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal made an announcement that shocked even big political parties like BJP and Congress.

After getting lesser votes than NOTA, AAP lost deposits in all the seats it contested from. However, to make sure it doesn’t happen again, Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday made an announcement that AAP has decided to form an alliance with NOTA before the 2019 election.

NOTA has played a key role in all these states and have become a reason to worry for all the parties. UP CM Yogi Adityanath has also written a letter to the election commission to change the name of NOTA (None Of The Above) to BOTA (Best Of The Above), so as to enable the votes of NOTA to go in favour of the leading party.

“NOTA people are like students who ask questions after the bell rings, but they don’t get anything out of it and just want to make sure that other students have a bad time, ” said a political analyst.
