DRDO’s Plane Crashed in Karnataka; People Didn’t Help as ‘DRDO’ was Imprinted in Hindi

Amid several incidents of hindi imposition being witnessed in Karnataka, a bizzare incident surfaced in Tombala village of Karnataka.

A DRDO’s plane crashed in the open field area of Tombala with two men flying the plane suffered huge injuries. People living nearby areas rushed to the place of incident with an intent to help. However, a man named Siyappa, who apparently is the head of that village, asked people to step back saying there’s something written in Hindi on the plane (it was डि.आर.डि.ओ, meaning DRDO), which means it is a North Indian plane. He considered this as a conspiracy of North Indians to impose Hindi language in South Indian states like Karnataka. Of the two flyers in the plane, one was from Karnataka and other’s identity is unknown as he is unconscious. It is only when former talked in Kannada, people realised that they are South Indians and started helping them. They immediately sent to the two passengers to a nearby hospital.

It is very pitiful that language differences is leading to such unfortunate incidents where people are not even trying to help even for the sake of humanity. The government needs to take some initiatives about this.
